And it seems likely that one will now be retrofitted after Finance and Infrastructure Minister Steven Joyce signalled his support for it last week while addressing local businesses about what to expect in next month’s Budget.
Joyce said he supported an interchange north of Waikanae and believed it would happen eventually, Kapiti Coast Chamber of Commerce chairwoman Heather Hutchings said.
