A couple of visits that were close to each other in the beach zone: respectively, Chrissie Sollis Art Studio of 79 Queens Drive which has a dedicated space as shown in the rear of the garage and Artwizz Studio at 27 Eruini Street, which is Alan Baddiley.

The former comprises more conventional pretty things, while the latter is a bit less conventional: ” excitingly different abstract paintings, in a variety of colours and shapes.”  Some were on the lawn while others were in a shed: he felt with the poor weather forecast of the second weekend, he didn’t want to have to shift too many into indoor shelter in a hurry!
