We are told they were placed there to stop cars using the pedestrian area between the two parking lots. The obvious problem, apart from their appearance, is that they are leaving rust stains on the tiles/bricks.
So how much did they cost? $300 each? Nope. $500? Not even close — the bill for ratepayers was $2,100 a piece! There are 9 there, but there is an obvious ring where there must have been a 10th which has been removed, so a total of $21,000…
