People are not only living longer, they want to be active for longer, looking after themselves for longer, engaged with their communities for longer… and many of us are doing that quite creatively.

It’s what has been called “The End of Retirement as We Know It.” New Zealand is part of this world-wide “longevity” revolution. Kāpiti and Horowhenua are a thriving part of our country’s economy and will have their fair share of Enterprising 50+ businesses.

Three local 50+ entrepreneurs, Adrian, Angela and Jill are looking to kick-start a network of people in the region who, at 50 plus, have started or intend to start their own businesses. Your business proposition could range from the conventional to ‘out there’ — a one-person band, or with multi-national aspirations. It doesn’t matter because there are always opportunities to pick up ideas, lessons learned and “don’t do that!” from others who have been through the journey.

‘Enterprising at 50+’ Inaugural Network Meeting.

Join them to share ideas, get support and network with like-minded people:

6–8pm on Monday 25 February, Waikanae Baptist Church meeting room, 286 Te Moana Road.
