Together they provide a good idea of how this stage of the ‘Ewy’ will look when completed, which we’re told will be about 2 years from now — we figure that with this section they have to ensure there won’t be the series of ‘fixes’ that MacKays to Peka Peka has needed.

At the Otaki end (above) there is not only realignment of the road, but also some of the railway to make the curve north of the station less sharp.
