A reader has alerted us to this post on the Kiwi Gun blog (first post today). Note that in this case he was asked what does he think of Jacinda Ardern?
Accordingly, our suggestion if you think you might be on the list of “right wing extremists” (read “strong opponents of the present government”) that you put a picture of Jacinda in your front window….
One thing you must do, though, is record the visit with a camera phone or, better, an internet-connected CCTV camera — and then use the recording to lay a complaint with the Independent Police Conduct Authority (IPCA). Phone 0800-503-728, or fill in an online complaint form at www.ipca.govt.nz
This is appalling.
We were contacted by a reader who was just raided by 14 heavily armed police and a dog unit.
His crime? He purchased an AR15 sometime after the Christchurch attack.
That’s it. He was getting one for his birthday in a few months’ time from his wife. Didn’t want to miss out in the uncertainty and so purchased early.
The police first raided another home, believing it to be his. It wasn’t. It was his workers. They seized his phone and showed him the careful plans they had formulated to raid the incorrect dwelling.
Then they found our reader’s residence on the same property. Then performed a full tactical search. Then seized his AR. After separating him from his wife.
Then police asked his views on Islam etc. Did he like Jacinda?
Then they left him with his license and several other guns.
Because he was NEVER A THREAT.
He was told not to expect to get what he paid for the seized rifle.
Is that f***ing right?
He was told that there was no compensation for the ammo. He could give that away.
The special storage case was his loss as well. Useless for other rifles.
We have advised the gentleman involved to make a complaint with the IPCA [Independent Police Complaints Authority].
Here is a tip for any police reading this…
If you conduct a raid of a citizen, terrorizing his family with over a dozen armed police, in several vehicles and the end result is you simply saying “K bye” – Then you are a c***.
You need to ask yourself is THIS why you became a policeman?
Who are you serving?
This man’s only gang connection was the 6000 cows he manages. The gun seized was for pest control and destruction of injured stock.
No inciting incident.
No criminal record.
No flag on his name to suggest this family would ever be a problem.
But he is a vetted shooter. So f*** that guy.
That is New Zealand now.

Your heading states – issues relevant to Waikanae people – how is this relevant and also – your definition of right wing extremists is ridiculous. White wing extremists are an issue throughout the world.

What is one to make of your ‘definition’? Right wing = white wing; what a non-sequitur.
How does one define ‘Right’? Hitler? Don Brash? ACT? It has an historical and ideological lineage from those such as de Maistre, Burke, Spengler, Alain de Benoist, that is not intrinsic to your odd term ‘white wing’. Indeed, the European New Right rejects the Whig-Liberal demand for immigrants to assimilate into a nebulous ‘one nation’ mass of producers and consumers, and would prefer them to retain their identities.
If ‘Right wing’ = ‘white wing extremists’, then the Labour Party equals Bolshevism, Ardern has an ideological relationship with Pol Pot, and the much-lauded but failed utopia that ‘we are all one’ in the name of ‘liberty, equality, fraternity’, has given us such examples as the Vendee extermination, the elimination of the kulaks, the killing fields of Cambodia, the gulag and the guillotine; all in the name of equality. That is what happens when one tries to use slogans and cliches as a substituent for depth of thought, Ms Wadsworth. Should we go back to when Harry Holland thought the Bolshevik Revolution was a jolly good show to trace Ardern’s ideological lineage?
Such lack of precision is relevant in the manner by which the police have compiled their blacklist of dissidents, without the slightest justification for believing that Tarrant was involved with anyone in NZ.
The terms Far Right, Alt Right, Identitarian, Neo-Nazi, white supremacist, have been bandied about by media and dunderheaded ‘experts’ without the slightest ability to define these or give them historical context, but this would not be conducive to concocting the myth of a vast conspiracy of ‘Right wing’ ‘white supremacists’ needing to be silenced by hate speech laws, which will coincidentally be handy in suppressing any dissent on issues connected with globalisation.
It is ‘ridiculous definitions’ by journalists, and poorly informed , agenda-driven academics from whom the police have apparently drawn up a blacklist for armed visitations; police moreover who do not have the foggiest idea as to what they are supposed to be asking other than to try to eke out more names.
There is now a sufficient corpus of examples, including those that are taped, collated to discern the attitude of the police; one might say a convergence of evidence. So it is not just one persons’s allegations.
As for ‘what relevance to Waikanae people’; it is happening in Kapiti on the basis of entirely spurious advice given to police.

And not to mention – 1 person’s version

Civil liberties and civil rights are relevant to everyone in the country including Waikanae. You’re entitled to your opinions and beliefs — and so are all NZers. How would you feel if instead the the government and their police starting persecuting “left wing extremists”?

This chap was called a’bigot’ on social media. If he was resident in New Zealand it seems certain he would be visited by armed police. The media and ‘experts’ might have called him a neo-Nazi, white supremacist, alt. right, far right:
