We visited about 12:30 today and stall holders we spoke to reported a steady number of visitors from the opening at 10 am. Although the dimensions of the KCDC-owned community hall in Rauparaha Street don’t suit very much, they seem ideal for this purpose at least.
The next market is scheduled for Sunday 20 October.

We visited this inaugural market just after 11 am. I left the delighted owner (gifted by John) of a striking pair of silver earrings crafted by Steve Anderson along with lovely cards from Jacqueline’s stall. Great to see great eats, The Front Room, wonderful hand knitted clothes for small people, preloved interesting clothing, tantalizing cheese and honey there too — all of which I intend to sample at your next market on the 20th October.
Well done.
