These photos by John Vickerman taken on Saturday, 26 October were sent by Margaret Stevenson-Wright to the KCDC, but haven’t appeared, so here they are. The second photo shows the ribbon-cutting ceremony for completion of the renovations by the new Waikanae Ward Councillor, Jocelyn Prvanov.

The previous Thursday saw an early morning blessing ceremony by kaumatua Koro Don at 7 am.

There is still some proposed work in Mahara Lane (the narrow connecting part from the quadrangle to the Main Road) yet to happen.
