Real as distinct from a ‘virtual’ meeting via Zoom of which there were a handful during Lockdown. You can read the the Agenda on the KCDC website here.
Most of it consists of ratifying the grants that were discussed and approved in principle during Lockdown, plus one from the Lions Club for assistance with their Waikanae Garden Trail for the next three Januarys (see the previous posts on here about this very worthwhile community event).
There are several ongoing matters apart from what is mentioned on the Agenda, one of the most important being a Project Action Group for the Waikanae Library, of which James Westbury and Margaret Stevenson-Wright are the WCB representatives.
Please, can I have a explanation of the term “Chairman Place and Space” as opposed to plain “Chairman” , as noted in your attachment regarding the WCB meeting?
This question isn’t meant to be confrontational, just out of curiosity, as my (long-past / long-lost) education didn’t cover this particular phrase..

We understand the term Place and Space was one that Chief Executive Wayne Maxwell came up with in 2018 and covers certain categories within the council operations, among them Parks and Reserves, open areas not designated as either, and buildings owned by the council. Thus the Group Manager James Jefferson uses that term, but the WCB Chair is simply called that.
