In the Northern Hemisphere the equinoxes are treated as marking the change to/from Spring and Autumn, but in this part of the world it is the first of September and March. Regardless, Spring blossoms are appearing and will continue to add colour for another 3 months.
Who, apart from the idiots on tv, thinks this is the first of Spring? Spring starts with the Spring Solstice, which is 21 September; still three weeks away!
