In my recollection the principal lithium minerals are silicates. If they’re outcrop they can be found relatively easily but if they are buried there are few, if any, exploration techniques to find them. Thus as the currently known resources are depleted the price will go through the roof.

Diesel being used to mine lithium to make batteries that power most of the tools and devices used today, is like the pit pony a passing phase. Early coal powered steam driven oil derricks are a similar example. There was an outcry in the UK Parliament after Winston Churchill, before becoming prime minister, raised a bill to rebuild the British Navy to run on oil instead of coal. He was ridiculed for that. But they couldn’t have won the second world war with out that shift. Oil as a fuel source is coming to its end also, no attempts at ridiculing electricity powered vehicles or their battery chemistry will change that. What should be used to mine rare materials that re used in the majority of our everyday items? Men and pit ponies?

Yes Nikola Tesla did have a great energy system, we use it today, the three phase alternating current system. His 3 phase motor design remains relatively unchanged to this day and powers the majority of machinery in use. If you are referring to his high frequency energy transfer system, then we also use that but at a lower power input, it’s known as radio, wifi, bluetooth etc. At higher frequencies that system would create all sorts of undesirable effects and interference. Electrified fillings anybody?
Stan Meyer was a a fraud. whilst a water powered car would be a dream come true, the amount of energy required to split water into hydrogen and oxygen for fuel would require a large power plant no car can tow around. All nice ideas but in practicality there is a reason why we don’t have them.

A patent is an idea that may working theory but often not in practice. Like I said you would need a power plant larger than any water powered car could tow to make it run on water.

That is a capacitor, the same physics that make radio possible. One plate is earth, the other the tower or antenna, the electrolyte is the air. There is nothing special about it, bog standard electrical physics.
