Kia ora e te whānau Mahara,

Due to the current Covid-19 lockdown we are closed until further notice. We need to postpone the Artist’s Floortalk by Dr Rangihīroa Panoho —  scheduled for this Saturday, 21 August — to a later date.

Please check our Facebook and website for further updates.

We wish all of our artists, friends, volunteers and supporters in Kāpiti and around the motu a safe lockdown. We hope you are nourished by creative thinking, making, reading, listening, talking to others — whatever helps you most in these challenging times.
EXHIBITIONS running until 18 September 2021

Our current exhibitions — ĀTĀROA, ‘the long shadow’ of the New Zealand Land Wars by Dr Rangihīroa Panoho, and Asemica, artist’s books by Paul Thompson — are scheduled to run until 18 September, so we hope you can get in to view them before they close.

They are our final planned exhibitions for this year, as we will soon be moving offsite for the building redevelopment work to begin here. We are continuing to work on the redevelopment through lockdown and look forward to bringing you some more news of events around that very soon.

Meantime, kia kaha, stay safe and be kind to yourselves and those around you,

Ngā mihi mahana
