The Jacinda government’s assault on New Zealanders suspicious of this rushed experimental substance (it should not be called a vaccine) which even Pfizer’s own scientists don’t like from a company with a tarnished criminal history of false claims and corruption, is not going to end well. Passive resistance, Mahatma Gandhi-style, is going to be one consequence, while civil division — which this government has demonstrated is one thing it is good at — will worsen. —Eds
