It was a very special evening last week having waited a year since purchasing the Fujifilm XT3. The Milky Way will be falling below the horizon for the last time of this season in a few days. This image was taken by the estuary of the Waikanae River here on the Kapiti Coast New Zealand at 9.20 pm. Single image, 18 seconds, no filters, no PS or LR, new moon and I think it is Mars above it.
