We proudly stand by our colleagues named in the article, Sally Sayers RN, Dr Anna Harvey, as well as all the other staff who are helping support covid vaccine injured victims, those affected by the mandates and those proactively strengthening their immune system to prevent and reduce the effects of covid on their person. Stuff.co.nz is aptly named. It is absolutely stuffed relative to good, objective journalism. Investigative journalism has died. I say that as a retired journalist/editor. Papers and tv lack integrity and regularly fail to attain balance.
Of course the media’s principles went down the loo when they accepted the Adern government’s blatant bribe with political conditions attached to which the media had to be sub-servient to. Corrupt you might be inclined to say?
The Mainstream Media News are paid propagandists for the Jacinda government, but Stuff Them is more than that, a gang of mercenaries who take money also from Big Tech, Big Pharma, and shady international organisations to indulge in character assassination and ridicule of those who have a counter message. The sooner they disappear the better, but they’re obviously getting enough dosh from their backers to stay afloat.
Is not the issue of free Press. The government , and long before Jacinda has controlled the News content , in particular in TVNZ, look at the level of Moari language being introduced to ” supposedly ” educate watchers. That is not news. Its manipulation of the public. Our options as citizens to reach out and propose an opinion in the mainstream has been lost with the advent of censorship of opinion by reducing or eliminating feedback that has resulted by less newspaper coverage in letters to the editors, less independent newspapers and inability to feedback on TV news shows. Politically its unacceptable not to be vaccinated, public good reasons. Strange how the current vaccine is ineffective against Omnicron, yet the government insists on everyone being boosted, when supposedly we are also told a better vaccine will be ready at the end of March. There certainly is a game going on here, and we do not know the rules.
If we had a genuine free press and third estate we would stand to be fairly informed. Questioning the government now is close to getting a knock on your door. Its not a healthy democratic country we find ourselves in any more.
