Tamati Coffey’s divisive and racist Bill is seeking to end the fundamental democratic principle of one person, one vote in Rotorua.
Hobson’s Pledge has made it easy for you to put Parliament on notice that this anti-democratic bill won’t go through without a fight.
Your Council, or even Parliament, could be next.
As we have seen before, with the likes of the similarly divisive and race-based Ngai Tahu representation Bill, your support gets these bills noticed by the media and gets our message out to the public.
The anti-democracy movement rush these bills through Parliament to avoid a public debate, all while they call defenders of democracy racist to try and shame them for speaking up.
We will not be cowed. Together, we can take back control and protect our democracy.

When does this divisive nonsense cease? Probably I hope, next year’s election.
What sort of legacy is PM Ardern leaving for future NZ citizens, of which her daughter Neve will be one.
I just don’t understand the madness.
