Comrade Jacinda makes no secret that she doesn’t like Brian Tamaki — and the feeling is mutual. If he was the leader of a standard predominately Maori gang, he’d be no problem — but campaigning for people’s rights and freedoms is a no-no for her and her supporters, so he gets the heavy arm of the State and vitriol from the Mainstream Media.
Brian Tamaki does have mixed perceptions in the wider community and he was discussed at a VFF meeting in Waikanae last year. One speaker said that whatever people may think of him and his Destiny Church, he has done a lot for his followers who are mostly Maori. He makes valid points in this 23-minute video.

Very thoughtful on where NZ has descended to. What sort of society since 1984 has Rogernomics, Ruthenasia, Nannyism, and now Ardern Arrogance created?

Brian Tamaki not one of my favorite people bleeding his church goers for money but he did make a stand against Ardern’s wayward Govt policies and for that I put him on a better pedestal

Mr. Tamaki is talking sense.
Relying on the politicians and bureaucrats to “look after us” has resulted in hard times for the ordinary working people of New Zealand.
People in governments can not look after us they do not have the resources, ability or desire to look after the rest of the people.
They only want celebrity, prestige, authority and control over the rest of the people to satisfy their inflated egos.
People in government can do only 2 things.
1. They can take and spend other people’s money.
They impose taxes, fees, levies, fines and other costs that wage and salary earners are forced to pay without any choice.
This is legalized extortion.
2. They make more and more rules and regulations and compel us to comply with whether we agree or not.
They justify this increasing control over us as protecting us from some danger or other that we could manage quite well without their interference.
This fearmongering and bullying is unjust.
Everyone talks about the National and Labour parties without understanding that these organizations are just small groups of politically active people who cooperate to in their ambition to win in the next election so that they have power and authority in our government.
This very small minority of active and influential party members have secret local, regional and national meetings at which they choose politicians to represent them and support and promote THEIR REPRESENTATIVES to become elected.
Voters are foolish to believe that they decided who would be in the government because they are only allowed to choose between candidates who ;BELONG TO that small politically influential minority of political party members.
MMP also enables this small minority to put “list MPs” that no-one voted for into the government to further “stack the deck” against the rest of the people.
Who are the people in this small minority that have taken control of our political parties and government?
They are mainly what C.S. Lewis described as Omnipotent Moral Busybodies.
“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”
You can only meet and understand these people that are controlling our government, spending our money and forcing us to obey them if you join one of their parties and attend some of the secret little meetings where they are deciding how maintain and increase their power over you.
Democracy is government by the people but only by the people who are active in choosing who the rest can vote for to occupy those seats of power in Wellington.
Democracy died in NZ when the majority of the people stopped caring and being involved in the National and Labour parties and allowed the Omnipotent Moral Busybodies to take them over for themselves.
There are 2 choices.
1. Allow them to retain their political influence and power over everyone else.
2. Join their parties, attend their little secret meetings, oppose their selfish ambitions face to face, take over and select representatives that will serve the ordinary people of New Zealand and stop the destruction of democracy before it is too late.
Who can and should do this?
You and everyone else that is complaining about “the government” because
IF YOU ARE NOT INVOLVED IN CHOOSING WHO REPRESENTS YOU IN THE GOVERNMENT YOU ARE A VICTIM OF THOSE WHO DO!

I cannot claim to be an overall fan of ‘the Bishop’. in this instance I feel that a vast majority need to heed what Brian Tamaki (and others of the same conviction) are saying about the rapid erosion/stripping by the current government of our democratic rights and in fact our democracy- democracy hard won by veterans (of all races) – many of whom paid the ultimate sacrifice.

Perhaps “bishop” Tamaki still knows what most people do not.
The concepts of equality, individual rights and liberal democracy did not exist for most of our recorded human history.
The masses were ruled by individuals who believed they had a Divine Right to absolute authority and power over the rest of the people.
This was challenged in the Late 1600’s and early 1700’s (The Age of Enlightenment).
Great minds like those of John Locke in England and philosophers in other European counties came up with some new and revolutionary ideas.
God (some higher authority than man) who created everything (including our species) would not have meant for anyone to have such immense power over everyone else.
God must have meant for us all to be equal and have the same rights as one another.
Therefore, they said, there must be Natural Laws that cannot be violated because they are God’s Laws.
These Natural Laws entitle everyone to Natural Rights that are “inalienable” and must not be violated by individuals, rulers or governments.
Natural Rights are life, liberty and property (including the ownership of our own bodies).
People that ignore and violate the Natural Rights of any others are criminals under Natural Law and must be stopped from doing such cruel and inhuman things.
These ideas caught on and eventually resulted in the French Revolution, The American Revolution and changes in the way people were to be governed.
The Divine Rulers opposed these new ideas and has to be deposed often by force.
Eventually, after much bloodshed, self sacrifice and death a new form of government called Democracy (government by the people) was created.
Democracy is based on the belief in Natural Rights and Natural Laws that ambitious politicians must never be allowed to violate for any reason.
People with political ambitions are not like everyone else.
Their main motivation is to have the authority and power to decide what the rest of the people ought to think, say, do, believe and own “for their own good”.
Unfortunately power always corrupts those who gain it and absolute power absolutely corrupts them and motivates them to ignore and violate the Natural Laws and rights of the people they have power over.
Such corrupted individuals (some of whom might be in our current government) do not believe in God or any higher power than themselves so they replace the natural Laws with their Laws and replace our Natural Rights with PRIVILEGES that they can grant or deny to others as they choose.
You might not believe in God or Natural Laws but you might also be allowing people who behave as though they are gods or goddesses to deny and violate your natural rights and impose legislation that prevents you from protecting yourself, your freedom, your property and even your life from these tyrants.
Liberal Democracy is failing because people that label themselves as liberal (but are really authoritarian) are not respecting Natural Law and our Natural rights and the rest of us are ALLOWING THEM TO have too much authority and power.
If we do not stop this now, the result will be government by tyrants (who force us to obey them “for our own good”) and a return to the past times when “the masses” had no rights and suffered under their cruel rulership.
The people in our government are not our rulers.
They are our EMPLOYEES.
We hire them to work for us (for 3 years) in elections and pay their wages, pensions, expenses and perks.
We did not hire them to tell or force us to do what they think is good for us.
Their job is to serve us effectively and competently and respect our individual Natural Rights.
The omnipotent political elites (reds, blues and greens) have been ignoring our Natural Rights for far too long and it is corrupting them.
We must stop this.
Not by revolution, riots, violence and war.
Simply by withholding our votes and permission in the next elections, for their own good and our own..
Say no to tyranny in 2024.
