“Jacinda Ardern’s comments to media [Friday] that she might once again chop and change the traffic light settings are completely illogical, it’s time she gave up her vice like grip on our lives and dropped the Covid rules,” says ACT Leader David Seymour.
“The constant changing of the rules is tiresome. People have stopped paying attention to what the requirements are and worst of all – they don’t make sense. We should drop them all together.
“The masking rules are now illogical and ineffective. If people want to wear masks they can, but government shouldn’t be forcing people. The rest of the world has moved on and we need to as well.
“There are very few, if any, other airlines in the world that are required by government to require masks. Schools should be able to make their own rules.
“The vaccine mandates don’t make sense. Workforce shortages are having a huge detrimental impact across the health sector and vaccination mandates, alongside unworkable isolation requirements, are major reasons for this.
“ACT thinks it should be up to organisations to make policies as they see fit, including the ability to have regular rapid antigen tests as an alternative to vaccination, which give greater reassurance that a health worker does not have COVID-19 than their vaccination status.
“The requirement to test to enter New Zealand makes no sense. People arriving here are no more likely to have Covid than someone in New Zealand, in fact, often our rates are higher than the rest of the world. All we’re doing is putting off people from coming here.
“Instead of tinkering with traffic light settings and changing the rules, let’s just dump them. The Prime Minister should ask if the rules are adding value, realise they’re not and move on.”
They need to pay workers properly.
I currently on job seeker benefit and me and my partner get around $750 plus with my small market garden I get around extra $100 dollars for selling some veg.
My last job last year was driving loader at Limestone quarry.
I was $23/hour around $770/week.
I am actually on more money on benefit than actually working day in day out at job where I see less family and cannot enjoy hobbies cause at work all the fucken time.
Workers should be double the pay that benefit people are on, there just no incentive for me to look for work seeming i get more on benefit.
Its not all right for the councilors and politicians to get nice wages and salaries for doing jack shit. Politicians get nice retirement package after 3 terms 9 years in office, while rest of us gotta work for life.
All workers in society should get this same retirement package as the politicians ,we all work in the same society. But some are awarded more than others to keep the Narrative running.
As a small tour operator in the Far North, I will be interested to see what happens when the cruise ships start to return in October. We have received the schedule and there are 53 ships total, 4 “non cruise,” which don’t count ,varying from 184 to 4180 passengers. The total number of passengers, including the the 4 “non cruise,” is 93,712. The vast majority, 52, are scheduled to arrive from 17th October 2022 to 25th. April 2023. What I personally will be interested to see is how many of them will be wearing face nappies during their visit to Bay Of Islands. I suppose we shall hear by “buss telegraph” and or the likes of STUFFED DOT CON how many face nappy wearers there are on the other ports visited before us up here. There is always the chance that Jasinister will throw another wobbly and impose lockdowns again, just to cause as much more fear, aggravation and damage to our economy as she can.

Seymour with an electrical engineering degree does not understand electricity and does not realise the damage being done to our grid or that smart meters are adding dirty energy onto our power bills hence the reason it is so high.

Time to dump the PM
A lot of people seem to think the mandates are over!!! I say “If the mandates are over why aren’t the doctors, nurses, teachers and all other mandated people back at work?” “Oh!” they say, “Yeh!!!”. No one knows what is going on, most folk seem to be in the covid dream world, a mixture of experimental drug taking and oxygen depletion. I was bought up to NOT experiment with drugs and to always try to breath fresh air. Now kids are being taught they must take experimental drugs and they must cut off their oxygen, replacing it with their own exhaled Co2 and bacteria. Strange how we are told the 400ppm Co2 in the air is killing Earth, yet it’s perfectly acceptable and even healthy for us to breath back in the 35000-50000ppm Co2 we exhale with every breath. And people call me a ‘conspiracy theorist’! With the global mind and information at peoples fingertips yet they still rely on govt and paid media to do their thinking for them. What a joke it all is.
The most dangerous strain of covid is oviditis. There’s still a lot of it here in NZ. Bah!
