The first pic was taken in 2018; the second last Saturday. No more low stone wall, instead a row of thin yellow bollards. What’s going between the bollards and the sidewalk? We don’t know, but suspect a cycle lane despite the NZTA telling the WCB in 2020 that idea had been dropped..

What an eyesore! Did they not think we could see the stone wall clear enough that they had to demolish it to replace it with this monstrosity! I am appalled at this destruction of our main road.
