About half a million Kiwi face the major challenges and opportunities of dyslexia.

The petition calling for a government inquiry into dyslexia in New Zealand will be presented to MPs on the steps of parliament on Friday 28 October.

The event will begin outside the Old Bailey hotel at the bottom of Lambton Quay at 12.30 pm, proceeding to parliament for 1:00 pm.

The event will still have a red theme – so wear red if you possibly can.  There will be a soap box (or for the creative spellers a sope bocks) – so if anybody feels the desire to make some comments – please feel free to do so.

Please come if you are able.  Please also e-mail your friends and colleagues.

This is a chance to be part of history.  Almost all social change here in New Zealand has been started with a petition.

I look forward to seeing you in the day (I am also going to be on TV NZ Breakfast early in the morning of Friday 28th.)
