Joe and the rest of the Washington War Machine seem to view Russia as a ‘Land of Mordor’, which must be invaded and its evil people forced to submit to Wokeism, Globalism, Climatism etc. The only problem is that history is not on their side — Napoleon’s and Hitler’s invasions failed miserably — and the hard facts are that Russia is today a country where capitalism, not communism is de rigueur and American commercial interests did well until Joe’s sanctions, there is official Christianity, and people generally have similar interests and pasttimes that Americans do.

Charles’ 35,000 troops were crippled, and by spring only 19,000 were left. The Battle of Poltava in late June 1709 sealed the end of the Swedish Empire.
