(NZ First media release)

On Sunday, 30 July, following on from the very successful conference which New Zealand First held at the Holiday Inn, in Mangere over the weekend of 22-23 July, and the campaign launch at Mt Smart Stadium which was part of the conference, New Zealand First launched its election campaign in the Remutaka Electorate at Brewtown on Sunday, 30 July.

Marc Lorentzen, the Chair of the Hutt Valley Hub Committee, and a member of the Wellington Hub, and Peter Morahan, a Lower Hutt lawyer who is well known among squash players in the Wellington Squash District, attended Brewtown in Upper Hutt early on the morning of Sunday, 30 July.

Above is a photograph of Marc in the gazebo which Marc and Peter set up. They were joined later in the morning by the Hutt South candidate, Lee Donoghue. Lee would be known to readers for acting the role of Hunter McKay in Shortland Street between the years 2006 to 2012. Next Saturday, Lee will hold his campaign launch.

A number of people stopped by the gazebo to discuss New Zealand First policies, and other issues of relevance.

New Zealand First will be in attendance on a regular basis at both the Riverbank Market in Lower Hutt, and the Brewtown market as part of its election campaign.

Remember, NZ First won’t co-operate with Labour again, this is a major reason:
