This first one for the country-wide sentiment is fairly close to what Aussie bookmakers are showing:
It can only be surmised that the Chippy Party is losing support to National (which in turn is losing support to ACT) as well as the Greenies and the Winnie Party.
More interesting are the regional differences shown in the Guardian poll:
The high support for Chippy Party in Wellington is no surprise — it’s a city full of overpaid underworked public servants who want that to continue.
However, Auckland is where a third of the country live and Comrade Jacinda’s extended Lockdown over August–December 2021 is having well-deserved consequences.
I guess that luxon cowtowing to bully ufenall and a host wishywashy statements puts off a host swinging voters as to some of acts policies and openly attacking Winnie is not a good look.
So c’mon Winnie you can do it again
