Relative sea level has increased at an annual average rate of 1.9 mm a year in that 130 years!
But– Absolute sea level has actually fallen because of vertical land movement in that time by an average –1.6 mm a year!
Ignore what Greenies and their ilk say — there is no reason for KCDC to cause panic and absolutely no need for it to consider any managed retreat!
From now on just refer Climate Alarmists to this.
And, tell Sq Bolger to take a hike. The people who pulled his strings, when he had position of influence, are still doing the same thing now.
A message for Bolger ……….. you are a muppet. Start thinking; and man-up ………… get over it, you are a bought and paid for (ex) politician.

Gordy (above) seems a little upset by Mr.Bolger’s climate conspiracy theories. It was obvious to all who attended the recent CAP ‘consultation’ meeting at the Raumati Beach Bowling Club that our council had used a Hawkes Bay consultant to channel the things in a certain direction.
