For the first time, Jacinda Ardern’s approval rating trails that of a rival, with a 1News Kantar public poll tonight showing the PM’s net approval at just +15, plummeting from +55 at the election.
It is Ardern’s lowest approval rating in this particular poll — even Judith Collins once had a higher score, hitting +27 in July 2020 — and she is perilously close to Todd Muller’s +10 in a June 2020 poll.
Her rival, new National leader Christopher Luxon, made his first appearance in the poll with a net approval rating of 22 points.
I believe that Luxon has a team with depth, experience and talent. They sure as hell will have to bring their best game after the next election to get NZ back on track.
Luxon’s team are all pro-vax, pro-mandate, possibly tougher than Ardern. They are ignorant of the true world situation (or possibly paid out by Schwab and Pfizer- like Ardern). Luxon’s team is NOT alternative governance for this country. Yeah, but it’s the obvious better of a bad choice. Ardern has to be the most doctrinaire, deceitful, self-obsessed, devious, sickening PM the country has ever had. Do we want institutionalized racism to get worse, freedom of speech reduced, reckless spending, ignoring of real needs to continue?
We do not need compromised leaders, leaders who are paid out by lobbyists or Bigpharma. We need a Riccardo Bosi, uncompromised, not owned. And I believe there is one or more here – there are a number of New Zealanders who would address all those irregularities mentioned above by you Waikanae Watch. If an individual (Luxon) will force vaxes on a population, how can you trust him in everything else. He and his team are as culpable as Ardern. Seymour, the Greens, no answer either. Sue Grey leads the Outdoors Party and she has fought against the mandates. I could trust her.
