what’s in it for Sanna?

30 Wednesday Nov 2022

Unsurprisingly the MSM have been gushing about Comrade Jacinda’s counterpart on the other side of the World, specifically in Finland, appearing on the ‘podium of truth’ alongside their idol.

According to Radio NZ:

“At the briefing Ardern said the talks she has held with Marin affirmed the warm relationship between two countries which were both committed to democratic values.”

Hmm, if Comrade Jacinda’s steady destruction of democracy is what will turn the Finns on, then yeah, that should help Comrade Sanna.

They had discussed the challenges facing the world, especially Russia’s invasion of Ukraine which both had strongly condemned. The conflict was literally on Finland’s doorstep, Ardern said.

Ah, not really — Helsinki is 1400 km from Kiev.

Marin stressed the need for both countries to work together to advance their common values. She said both also needed to continue their efforts in support of Ukraine. “We need a hard power when it comes to Ukraine. They need weapons, they need financial support. They need, right now, our support. And we need to make sure they win.

Ukraine won’t win: what the country needs is a Peace Treaty with Russia.

“We need to make sure the sanctions are harder and harder against Russia.”

The sanctions haven’t worked and they won’t. Those who are suffering the most are Ukrainians and the people of NATO countries, Russia is doing well from increased oil and gas prices.

She said while the people of Ukraine were suffering on a daily basis, the war was also having an impact worldwide. “We need to make sure the war stops as soon as possible.”

Can Comrade Sanna not see the inconsistencies and contradictions in what she says?

She expressed a hope that her visit — the first by a Finnish PM to Aotearoa — would move the relationship between two countries enjoying an excellent relationship to the next level.

There’s that Wokeist/Leftist A word, that should have pleased Comrade Jacinda.

Both leaders were asked about the responsibility they felt as being in the minority as women leaders. Ardern said it had been among the topics they had discussed and they had looked at what they could do together, especially where human rights were being violated.

What about the abuses of Human Rights that Comrade Jacinda has been responsible for? Again if that turns on the Finns…

The leader made headlines this year after the 36-year-old was filmed partying with her friends.

Actually it was a bit more than that; she was pictured getting very cozy with a man who wasn’t her husband.

When a photo was later published of two influencers kissing partially topless at her official residence Kesaranta at a different event, she apologised and admitted it was “inappropriate”.

What people do in private is their own business, but it’s certainly a lack of judgement to let it become public.

In July, Finland was invited to join NATO after the country had long held a non-military-aligned status. It had maintained a cordial relationship with Russia – but the war in Ukraine changed that.

Yeah, well, that’s what you get from expressing a belligerent attitude and inviting NATO forces to mass along the border with Russia. Did she not learn anything from the Ukraine conflict?

Chris Luxon needs to do more than just sleepwalk his way to victory

30 Wednesday Nov 2022

by Geoffrey Churchman

A photo I took of Chris Luxon with Nicola Willis getting interviewed by a TV One reporter in the Wellington Botanic Rose Garden on 1 December 2021.

Today marks a year since Chris Luxon was voted leader of the National Party by its MPs, ousting Judith Collins. Although recent opinion polls have shown National has a comfortable margin ahead of Labour — high 30’s versus low 30’s — many feel that National should by now be in the high 40’s, the same as the Jacinda Party was getting prior to the 2020 election. That it isn’t getting that level of support is an indicator of problems that Luxon and his colleagues and advisors need to address.

To any objective outside observer, this government has been handing (potential) support for National and ACT to them on a plate: among other things:

  • The systematic dismantling of democracy and its replacement with an unelected, unaccountable ethnocracy
  • Attacks on Freedom of Speech
  • Creation of a massive, unresponsive, expensive and unproductive public sector
  • Allowing the country’s only oil refinery to close and be dismantled
  • Sharply rising inflation
  • Sharply rising crime
  • Attacks on the country’s agricultural sector which has long been the main basis of NZ’s economy
  • Falling real incomes for the working and middle classes
  • A health sector in crisis
  • Deteriorating roads and railways
  • Plummeting education standards and chronic pupil truancy
  • A bought and paid-for mainstream media which avoid criticism of the government
  • Riding roughshod over people’s human rights
  • Ramming Wokeism down people’s throats
  • A general attitude by this government of “we know best so you peasants can Stuff off”

How does all that not result in opinion poll results in the low 20’s for this government which is about all the support that this program should have among the public, being the hard core who believe that no matter what, Labour somehow cares about them?

Despite her awful accent, mispronunciations and increasingly hagged appearance, Comrade Jacinda’s still reasonable looks and reasonable communication skills can be the only explanation. It’s an unfortunate fact that good looks and charisma are a big factor in winning elections because of the influence of mainstream TV; those who have that start with an advantage over those who don’t. The Labour Party and its reporters in the MSM clearly make the absolute most of it.

The task for Chris Luxon is to replace her, and that requires necessary equivalent personal skills and an ability to demonstrate that he has them. He looks and sounds like a businessman, but there is a difference between running a business, even a large one, and running a country. In theory at least, the leader of a country is there to do what’s best for everyone, not just a vested interest group such as a thousand or so Maori elites as the Jacinda government is doing.

How much of the economic and social destruction that the Jacinda regime has wrought on the country is National going to reverse? How much is National going to assert the principles of equality of rights where every citizen is treated the same regardless of their ancestry? Luxon is going to have to enunciate clearly firstly, that is National’s intention and secondly, exactly how he’ll go about that.

If Luxon fails to do that he and his Party can expect a lot of the votes that National should pick up instead going to ACT and parties outside parliament.

Our editorial group talk about this often. Here are Roger Childs’ comments:

Luxon is trying to ingratiate himself with the mainstream media and Labour supporters. He doesn’t need to do this and should be playing to National’s constituency.  I see him as gutless and he needs to stand up for democracy, equality and equity while rejecting separatism, tribalism and favouritism. He also needs to book himself in with the Orewa Rotary Club to give a speech next January, and thereby take a leaf out of Don Brash’s book.

how much CO2 will be released by Mauna Loa?

30 Wednesday Nov 2022

Posted by Waikanae watchers in Uncategorized

According to the MSM, the world’s largest active volcano, Hawaii’s Mauna Loa, has erupted for the first time since 1984. The lava flow is mostly contained within the summit, but residents have been placed on alert and were earlier warned about the risk of falling ash. The US Geological Service (USGS) has said the situation could change rapidly.

The CO2 emitted will be substantial and far more than James Shaw and his cohort could hope to reduce in a year in Jacindaland.

But it’s perfectly natural and good for world vegetation growth.

Mauna Loa = Maunga Roa in Maori = Long Mountain: this Google Earth 3D view makes the reason for the name obvious.

possessing ‘objectionable’ material qualifies you as a terrorist according to a new government Bill

30 Wednesday Nov 2022

from the Free Speech Union

Clause 15 of Minister Kiri Allan’s Counter-Terrorism Acts Bill redefines the term ‘terrorist’ and makes it possible for some who possess ‘objectionable material’ to be charged under terrorism legislation… even though the material has NOTHING to do with terrorism.

The Government has an important role to keep its citizens safe. Terrorism, violence for political ends, is the very opposite of free speech. But as I explained to the Justice Select Committee, extending the net so wide that those who possess material entirely unrelated to terrorism are considered ‘terrorists’ is a gross overreach and threatens our core freedoms. This clause has to go.

Terrorism bill

Videogames made by major international producers, like those who created the hugely successful Grand Thief Auto, have been barred by our zealous Chief Censor. For some, possessing this ‘objectionable material’ could see them as ‘terrorists’. Can you imagine how easily this law could be abused?

We know that some MPs are concerned about this clause. If we can build opposition to this part of the Bill, it will be amended before continuing through the House. Our petition can achieve that: help us now by signing and sharing. Possessing objectional material that is entirely unrelated to terrorism shouldn’t see Kiwis charged as terrorists.

The Free Speech Union has a track record of successfully challenging our would-be-censors, and seeing them back down. With your help, we can do it again, but we don’t have much time.

<<Sign our petition now to tell the Government keep terrorism charges for terrorist acts. >>

I know you get asked to speak out often, but we’ve shown time and again that the Free Speech Union gets results from Parliament. Your voice matters. MPs on the Justice Select Committee are deciding this week whether to keep this clause. Tell them no.

Note that it’s difficult to know whether or not you are eating GM products in NZ because there’s no requirement to label them. Soy is largely GM. Personally I avoid soy unless it’s organic, similarly corn I avoid. GM corn crops were slipped into NZ under Helen Clarke’s watch back in 2000 or thereabouts. Read Seeds […]

U.S. Dr Atlas sums up Fauci’s legacy of Massive Harm

30 Wednesday Nov 2022

As Anthony Fauci officially ‘retired’, former White House Coronavirus Task Force advisor Dr. Scott Atlas eloquently summarised the legacy Fauci leaves behind, one of “massive harm” to society.

Appearing on Laura Ingraham’s Fox News show, Dr. Atlas described Fauci’s as having “presided over the biggest failure in public health history over two different presidential administrations. “

Atlas further charged that Fauci’s policies “were implemented and those policies shifted the burden of this illness from the affluent to the poor, and incurred massive harm on our children, psychological damage, long-lasting damage, an obesity crisis, and we really haven’t seen tip of the iceberg on that damage to children, and again, worse on low income and poor kids.”

“And thirdly and perhaps most importantly,” Atlas continued, “Dr. Fauci, Dr. Birx, his underling, and many other people at the CDC and talking heads on TV have destroyed trust in public health.”

Atlas urged that “we have a huge challenge as a country to fix what happened in [Fauci’s] wake.”

As Fauci declared that his “final message” is for people to get keep getting booster vaccinations, Atlas noted that “Healthy people do not have a significant risk to a serious illness from covid, that’s a fact, not an opinion. It’s been proven the world over.”

PM in denial about ram-raids

30 Wednesday Nov 2022

Posted by Waikanae watchers in Uncategorized

(ACT media release)

“Jacinda Ardern’s assertion on the AM show that the ‘majority’ of ram-raid cases are being prosecuted shows she’s either in denial or living on another planet when it comes to crime,” says ACT Leader David Seymour.

“The Prime Minister tried to say that 14 ramraids last month was a good statistic and shows that we’ve turned a corner. In no way is 14 ramraids in a month acceptable.

“The claim that the “majority” are being prosecuted if farcical and frankly insulting to victims. It’s time Ardern woke up to the reality of this situation.

“It was reported in July that only 37 per cent of ram raids resulted in enforcement action, and only 61 per cent of those instances led to prosecutions.

“If the Prime Minister can provide figures showing a different picture, she should.

“We have called on the Government to get tough, and smart on the epidemic of retail crime that followed the epidemic of covid-19. We have proposed idea after idea to try and get on top of the ram raids and the robberies, but the Government has barely listened, if at all.

“We have challenged the Government to expedite its retail crime prevention fund, particularly after someone who sought and didn’t get help from it was robbed. That fund has continued at a glacial pace and now needs to be sized up and expedited.

“As a local MP, I’ve gone through periods where every time I return from Parliament I go and visit the latest victims of retail crime. This death could have happened a hundred times before, in hindsight it has only been luck that has prevented something like this happening earlier.

“The Government needs to show a clear pathway of consequences for young offenders, from instant practical penalties as proposed by ACT, to ankle bracelets for offenders, to secure facilities to keep offenders in if they do not comply with earlier sanctions. It then needs to get them back to school or employment.

“It should never have got this far and the Government must now act to ensure it does not happen again.”

Zelensky & Co. seem to have some sort of death wish

30 Wednesday Nov 2022

Posted by Waikanae watchers in Uncategorized

From The Saker at thesaker.is:

Yesterday I received an e-mail from a Ukrainian friend of mine.  By “Ukrainian” I mean that his culture and self-identity is Ukrainian, he loves his heritage, speaks the language and loves his country.  In fact, he is what I would call a “real Ukrainian” as opposed to the Ukronazis in power in Kiev.  We correspond regularly and exchange opinions on what is taking place.  Here is and excerpt of what I wrote to him yesterday:

“I am also heartbroken with the evolution of the war to liberate the Ukraine from NATO: while I have no doubts about the outcome, I am horrified at the thought of what this does to the civilian population.  My sadness is even made deeper by the realization that to a large degree the people of the Ukraine did it to themselves.  Russia tried REALLY HARD to not have a war, then she tried REALLY HARD to save the civilians and the civilian infrastructure.  But the people under Nazi occupation believed all the propaganda coming out of the regime in Kiev and the West and now there will be hell to pay.  For 6 months these naive people thought the Ukraine was winning because they could not even fathom that Russia was only using about 10% of her forces and trying really hard to save as many Ukrainians.  But no, they were celebrating the murder of Dugina, the attack on the Crimean Bridge, the attacks on the ZNPP and now they are going to pay a horrible price for these delusions and, frankly, lack of decency/morality.
As Douglas MacGregor said “the Russians are about to bring a sledge-hammer” to vaporize the NATO forces in the Ukraine.
We did not want that.
It was imposed on us.
What else can I say?
The Nazis will be crushed, but the costs of doing so will be needlessly high.
Millions of refugees will be added to the millions who already fled.
I feel utterly disgusted, sad and angry about this outcome
As one Rock song I know (“Gates of Babylon” by Rainbow – see below) says: “sleep with the devil, and then you must pay, sleep with the devil and the devil will take you away“.
I am sad to say that I believe that the people of the Ukraine did “sleep with the devil” (the West) and now comes the inevitable.

After sending my e-mail, I kept thinking about utter insanity of the Ukrainian actions.  An outside observer could be forgiven for thinking that the Ukrainian people have some kind of death wish, and if maybe not most people, then at least the leaders of the Ukraine.  And then it hit me.

The Ukraine is doing what is known in the USA as “suicide by cop” which Wikipedia defines as “Suicide by cop or suicide by police is a suicide method in which a suicidal individual deliberately behaves in a threatening manner, with intent to provoke a lethal response from a public safety or law enforcement officer“.

This is what the FBI’s Law Enforcement Bulletin has to say about such a situation: (emphasis added)

Suicide by cop situations are more intense than other suicide calls. All parties are armed, or the victim appears to be armed. The individual is active, rather than passive, and aggressive toward police or others. Despite its unique features, SBC fits the template of suicidal behavior as a planned outcome to an unfolding psychological process. Prevention and intervention are possible at the same points as in suicide by other means. Theoretically, suicides are preventable; however, realistically they may not be avoidable because of the nature of the plan or the point where first responders encounter the suicidal individual. SBC often is unpreventable. This must be considered in the aftermath regarding the officers who were coerced to be the unwilling means.

And, just to clarify, I do NOT consider that Russia is some kind of “cop” who has to enforce the law on anybody else.  Not at all.  But I do see a moral parallel between the cop who does not want to kill the suicidal person with a gun, but might have no choice, and the fact that Russia simply had no other choice other than to take action when the Donbass was threatened with imminent invasion and Russia was threatened by Ukronazi plans to acquire a nuclear weapon.

Sometimes the only way to disarm a person is to use your own gun.  That is exactly what happened here.

What makes this all even worse is that the dark forces in the West which created the Ukraine in the first place joined with the Nazis and Neocons (the two ugly twins who fight each other but look so much alike!) to push the Ukrainian people into a war which they never had any chance to win.  The Ukrainian military was defeated by mid-March but that was not enough for the Hegemony, so they ordered waves of mobilizations and sent in THOUSANDS of “advisors” and “volunteers”.  By mid-summer what had been a Ukronazi military was basically replaced by a de facto NATO force which is now also being “demilitarized”.

The AngloZionist Empire promised the Ukrainian people peace, prosperity and all the riches of the western propaganda (which is quite different from the West’s reality) and the ignorant people of the Ukraine (brainwashed first by Soviet, then Western propaganda) bought it all, “hook, line and sinker”.   This is similar to two vicious adults promising a 5 year old some super tasty candy and telling that 5 year old that “all he has to do” in exchange for the candy was to throw a few stones at a sleeping bear and “don’t worry, if the bear wakes up we will protect you!“.

Now that bear is awake, and mighty angry at that: the 5 year old is getting eviscerated while the vicious adults who promised him “a land flowing with milk and honey” are watching (from what they – mistakenly – believe is safe distance) and laughing at it all.

This is truly demonic evil.

There are still those out there who cannot, or don’t want, to understand what is taking place.
