Academics at Australian National University in Canberra have told staff to stop using the words “mother’’ and “father’’ in favour of terms like “gestational parent” and “non-birthing parent” in order to deliver gender-inclusive education.
These are alongside a list of other bizarre changes.
Silly ideas are the product of silly people, wholly divorced from reality. Such enthusiasms will pass, common-sense, which most people employ will, as always, prevail.
