From the Daily Mail
- PM has ordered top team to redouble their efforts to ease financial pressures
- Boris Johnson said Civil Service is ‘swollen’ as he tries to cut cost of government
- He has suggested that the billions saved could then be ploughed into tax cuts

Don’t believe it! A few may leave with handsome pay offs, natural attrition, but by the time they have set up a diverse and inclusive department to oversee the process of getting rid of the 91,000 parasites there will likely be more than ever.
It is worth remembering that at the height of the British Empire the entire thing was run by only about 1,000 Civil Servants. Of course diversity and inclusion had not been invented back then.

Will Jacinda and Grant Robertson follow suit? Like hell they will. Cutting costs goes against the grain for those two.

Whilst those civil servent salaries are slightly lower than full time worker salaries, those civil servents get a pension that most non civil servent workers could only dream of.
