For those who believe in Karma, the helicopter crash which killed Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi, aged 63, and Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian in the country’s mountainous province of East Azerbaijan was another example of it in action. Even Leftists have been critical of the country’s record on women’s and LGBTIA+ rights (basically they don’t have any).
Biden/Blinken’s State Department issued a press release stating “The United States expresses its official condolences for the death of Iranian President Ebrahim Raisi, Foreign Minister Amir-Abdollahian, and other members of their delegation in a helicopter crash in northwest Iran.”
Condolences? To the country whose government officials routinely chant “death to America”? To the country that openly supports and funds terrorist groups?
Respondents pointed out that the Biden regime wasn’t so quick to issue condolences to Americans who have been killed recently.

What depressing claptrap – a series of ridiculous claims none of which are justified or scrutinised.
How does Iran’s record on women’s education, for example, square with this claim that women have no rights? There are more female graduates in disciplines such as engineering than male. Nope, unsuccessfully dictating that women wear a scrap of fabric on the back of their heads doesn’t hack it – and in any case, was that Raisi’s policy or the mullahs’?
“the country that openly supports and funds terrorist groups” This refers to Hezbollah, whose crimes include fighting terrorism in the form of ISIS, and preventing Israel from illegally occupying South Lebanon. Another criminal was General Soleimani, who had to be murdered to stop him fighting ISIS.
Countries that openly support terrorist groups include New Zealand, which rewarded Zionist terror groups, whose crimes were well reported in the English-language press in the 1930s and 1940, with fragmenting Palestine for them (“our kind of people”, thought Anglo-Polynesian New Yobland). NZ has supported Israeli terrorism for decades, and is not the least worried that Israel is closely allied to terror groups like ISIS and al Qaeda (no problems with Netanyahu visiting al Qaeda combatants tended in Israeli hospitals up in the Golan). https://www.timesofisrael.com/ex-defense-minister-says-is-apologized-to-israel-for-november-clash/

The introductory comment refers to LGBTQIA+ rights, not to women’s rights, although like most Islamic countries, Iran’s record on that is poor.
