“We call it a Haki Ātea. The ātea comes from the separation of Ranginui and Papatuānuku, and when they separated there was an ātea a blank canvas, and so that is what the white flag represents a blank canvas to find new ways to move forward, to start again.” –Tame Iti

The original Treaty of Waitangi was a mirror image of the English Littlewood draft translated into Maori for signing on 6 February 1840.

At that point Democracy was established in NZ when Maori wanted and knowingly ceded sovereignty to the British Crown realising it would bring law, order, equality, protection and benefits experienced by us all from then on.

Unfortunately, since then the Treaty has been highjacked by ignorant politicians and the Waitangi Tribunal using a false version (the Freeman version) to validate their position. One obvious error in this version is it includes forest and fisheries, whereas the original did not. Subsequently we have been subjected to racial division that elevates Maori above the rest of society, contrary to the intent of the original Treaty.

For the record, I point out 66 million acres make up the land mass of NZ. It is a recorded fact that 92% of that land was sold by Maori. Sold not stolen. One such reference book is Pre-Treaty and Pre-Emptive Buyers of NZ by Jean Jackson.

Luxon is woke (a former corporate man) and wet; he is trying to please everyone but will end up pleasing nobody.

Like previous decades of politicians, Luxon has been deceived by inheriting the false Freeman version of the Treaty which has been twisted out of shape on purpose. Even the Treaty version at Te Papa is the Freeman one.

As Waikanae Watch correctly reminded us on a few days ago, for a short time Waitangi Day was called New Zealand Day. Our country has 160 different cultures living here. Were the rest of us represented on Waitangi Day?

The 2024 Waitangi Day celebrations (so-called) portrayed nothing of the average Kiwi. What mainstream media did show, should be enough for ‘thinking people’ to realise Maori elitists, activists and ignorant non-Maori who side with them, are aiming to take over New Zealand. I repeat their aim is to TAKE control over New Zealand.

Wake up New Zealand, stop appeasing this victimhood mentality before it’s too late and we’ll all be losers. I am tired of listening to Maori rhetoric with made-up words and statements with no facts or truth to them and interviewers and news reporters, without a clue about their history, drinking it all in.

The truth of the matter is we’ve been hoodwinked too long in the hands of an ignorant, insatiable money grabbing monster designed to suck us back to the stone age.

Come on New Zealanders – Push Back.
