Maori is actually an official language in NZ just as Hawaiian is in Hawaii, even if only 1% of the population is fluent in it. But the question is, how many people speak a constant fusion of English and Maori like this in public address? Many, any?

More significantly, is there any other state broadcaster in the World whose presenters do this? In Canada where 23% speak French, you can choose channels in English or French. The same applies in other multilingual countries like Belgium and Switzerland. In NZ there is a channel in Maori only, Te Reo, and the Maori TV channel usually has subtitles in English where Te Reo is spoken.
