In Waikanae we have ceramic artist Jane Santos. But on a bigger scale, for those who visit Taupo, this attraction is north of Acacia Bay and is reached by turning west along Acacia Bay Road and then north at Mapara Road — a ceramic armchair marks the turnoff. L’Arté Cafe and Gallery is about 5 km along. As well as the cafe and the grounds it also has a shop for their own and other local creations.
