Rally organized by Florian Philippot and The Patriots party calls for France’s exit from NATO and the EU

from RT.com

A demonstration in Paris on Sunday held by right-wing politician Florian Philippot’s Eurosceptic party denounced NATO, the militarization of Europe, and the French government’s military support for Ukraine.

During its summit this past week, NATO agreed to significantly ramp up military spending, citing the perceived “threat” from Russia. Last month, the EU similarly approved a €150 billion ($171 billion) borrowing mechanism to fund its military buildup. Russia has dismissed notions that it harbors hostile intentions toward Europe.

Sunday’s rally in the French capital had the stated objective of “defending peace and a Free France,” according to the party’s posts on X. The protesters also slammed French President Emmanuel Macron over what they view as his increasingly confrontational policies in Europe.

Addressing the rally, Philippot proclaimed that “we have no place in NATO, this criminal organization that costs us dearly and should have disappeared long ago!”

Philippot, a former member of the European Parliament, also said that “France must leave the EU and NATO as quickly as possible through Frexit!”

Among the slogans emblazoned on the placards and chanted by the demonstrators were “Frexit is another name for Peace” and “The patriots for peace.”

They also denounced the French government’s support for Kiev, insisting that they “don’t want to die for Ukraine.”

Russia now sees the EU as part of the NATO military pact and no longer supports Ukraine’s membership of the EU. Because of Macron, it’s clear that this sentiment has grown in France, too. —Eds

We’ve posted this before but it’s worth reposting. The fear element they’ve used was Covidiocy between 2020-2022, for quite some time it’s been Climatism in addition, and, of course, since 2022, the Russians are coming!

If reversed it would be called racism

30 Monday Jun 2025

by John Porter

American political economist Benjamin Friedman, author of Religion and the Rise of Capitalism, a basic reassessment of the underpinnings of today’s economics, once compared modern Western society to a bicycle whose forward momentum was kept going by continuing economic growth. He expounded that should that forward-propelling motion slow or cease, the pillars that define our society – our democracies, our individual liberties and social tolerance would begin to falter.

Further warning, “…if society was unable to get the wheels back in motion, countries would eventually face total societal collapse.”

I suggest there are any number of factors that would, especially if occurring in a similar time frame, precipitate a collapse of society in New Zealand. But where I see a danger looming on the horizon is the increasing lack of social tolerance, social tolerance that is being severely tested by the constant influence, preference and favouritism being assigned to Māori.

Influence, preference and favouritism that if reversed, would be, and correctly so, decried as racism!

Now, racism is not always conscious or actually readily visible and is typically categorised as systemic or structural.

Systemic racism transpires when unequal opportunities and outcomes are inbuilt or fundamental to the working of society’s structures and are beneficial to certain parties based on a racial definition.

Is this not what we are seeing in New Zealand now — unequal benefits and opportunities that are mandated to deliver prescribed outcomes to a particular racial group?

Structural racism on the other hand is a form of racism that is pervasively and deeply embedded in systems, laws, policies and practices, primarily for the oppression of a section of society.

The oppression of a section of society. Is this not what Māori sovereignty activists are undertaking, with no small amount of success, and forcing on the majority of New Zealand?

Most worryingly this is being embarked on with the support of a government that its coalition partners were adamant was going to be stamped out!

Back in 2016, a lobby group was launched to end what the group labelled, “Māori favouritism.”

The group was called Hobson’s Pledge and was and still is, fronted by former National Party leader Don Brash. That group was formed to pressure politicians into opposing race-based laws and preferential Māori seats in Parliament.

Dr Brash said for eight years the National-led government had been pandering to separatist demands. He said everyone should be equal before the law.

“We’ve got a situation where those who have a Māori ancestor, and I say sometimes only one or two Māori ancestors out of many, are given some constitutional preference.”

An emblematic example of this unconstrained racism featured prominently in a recent Waatea News article.

“The Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency has launched the longest advertisement ever made in Aotearoa urging more Māori to sign up to the Māori Electoral Roll.”

The 30-minute advertisement features Maori Sovereignty activist Tame Iti reading a ‘Māori roll call’ of New Zealanders who have recently joined the Māori electoral roll. The ad campaign will go out through TV, radio and billboards.

Get this — part-way through the reading, Iti leaves the room for a cup of tea as the camera stays in the dark, empty room. A 30-minute call to action encouraging Māori to join the Māori Electoral Roll?

Wow. Who pays for that? It’s the Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency: CEO, John Tamihere of TPM. Say no more!

The main funder of the Whānau Ora Commissioning Agency is Te Puni Kōkiri.  Te Puni Kōkiri (the Ministry of Māori Development) is funded by the Government.

So, there you go, we are indirectly funding racism!

Iti said young Māori need to get involved in politics to make change. See this Radio NZ article. “…young Māori need to get involved in politics to make change.” I say bullshit to that!

Māori Sovereignty activists “getting Māori on the Māori roll” has only but one very important consequence — INCREASING THE NUMBER OF MAORI SEATS!

From the Electoral Commission following an OIA request in 2020 –

  1. Electors of Māori descent who are registered on the general rolls are
not included in the Māori electoral population used to determine the
    number of Māori electorates.
     2. The number of general and Māori electorates and electoral populations
used to draw electoral boundaries are calculated by the Government
Statistician following each Census and Māori Electoral Option in
accordance with formula set out in the Electoral Act 1993. The
Government Statistician is required to use total population, as MPs
represent everyone in New Zealand, not just those who have registered
to vote. The number of Māori electorates is calculated by dividing the Māori electoral
population (473,077) by the South Island quota (65,458) which results
    in 7 electorates.

It is of little surprise then that Whānau Ora chair Merepeka Raukawa-Tait, a former Te Pāti Māori candidate, has defended the advertisement as being part of her mission to advance Māori wellbeing.

Why not be truthful, advancing the growth of the Māori roll is the purpose. Nothing more, nothing less!

When questioned about the advert, Minister of Māori Development, Tama Potaka explained that he had asked Māori development agency Te Puni Kōkiri, funding manager for Whānau Ora, to review the advert and ensure public money had not been used for “electioneering”.

“If public funding which has been set up to help whānau in need has been used for electioneering, that is unacceptable.” No shit Sherlock! This is a well-worn path!

These so-called “leaders” of the Māori sovereignty movement expertly epitomize the stupidity and inanity of their cause.

Rawiri Waititi, during the parliamentary debate on the suspension of Māori Party MP’s, self-importantly proclaimed ‘…we will not be assimilated…we make no apology for being absolutely, unapologetically, unfettered, unbridled Māori human beings…”

At best, most activists, if not all, would have no more than 25% of Māori blood in their veins! By that fact itself: They are not Māori!

They are IMPOSTORS and CHARLATANS perpetrating a massive fraud on our country.

And what makes this worse, the asinine chumps we have foolishly elected to protect our democracy are blissfully abetting its demise!

I suggest there is a bigger problem that needs to be solved if we are to retain our country.

Are we a strange people or not? So many New Zealanders stood up and were counted and protested against the abhorrent apartheid regime in South Africa.

Yet when racism is staring us in the face in our own country, we are totally apathetic!

Are we sleepwalking into He Puapua/Māori sovereignty? There is going to be a lot shocked and disillusioned people clutching their pearls when this happens!

The moral outrage will be vast. But too late folks, the horse called democracy will have bolted!

TIME TO GET SOWING

Now we are past the shortest day, it is time to get sowing seeds or planting seedlings.

Growing plants, flowers or vegetables from seed is the cheapest and best way to obtain good plants.

This can be done by germinating seeds in seedling trays or punnets or by germinating them where they are going to grow to maturity (the latter is the best way to obtain the best plants).

If you are going to germinate seeds in a seedling tray/punnet then for best strikes you will need under-heat. If you do not have a heat pad then into a search engine such as Google put ‘heat pad for seed germination’ and you will have several options,

Aliexpress has the best prices and 3 different sizes on offer from a small pad suitable for a punnet at $1.66 plus shipping to a large pad 25 x50 cm for $22.27 plus shipping. If buying make sure the plug for the power point is AU otherwise you will need an adaptor. The heat pad should be sitting on a polystyrene base so that all the heat is directed upwards.

If using punnets as the seedling trays then you can also place under them, meat trays you get your meat in from the supermarket. That tray can be used to fill with water when the punnet is sitting in it for moisture to be taken up and keep the seedling mix moist.

Now what mix should you use in the seedling tray? These days I have found brand name seed raising mixes to be rubbish as they don’t use peat moss like in days gone by,

In fact you would be better off going to a hardware shop and getting a bag of builder’s sand and using that. Builder’s sand (Sharp Sand) comes from grinding rocks to make the sand so it is weed free which sand from natural sources such as beach or rivers are likely to contain weed seeds.

But you can still obtain river/sea sand then bake it in the oven for a short time or beep it in microwave on high to kill any weed seeds (likely it will smell when you do it).

My favorite, Value Compost, is what I use by placing a layer of that to half fill the seed tray and then with a kitchen sieve, sieve some of the same over that to make a fine fine bed to sprinkle seeds on.

Seeds you sow at this time of the season are the hardy plants such as brassicas and silverbeet.

Those who are fortunate to have glasshouses or similar can start off tomato, cucumbers, egg plants and chili now other wise leave those for another month or so before germinating.

Place or sprinkle the seeds over the seedling bed you have sieved and then spray them with Magic Botanic Liquid (MBL) which breaks the dormancy quickly and they sprout, with the moisture and under heat.

Over the seeds either sprinkle sharp sand or sieve a little more of your compost.

Your heat pad and seedling tray should be placed some where that you will see them several times a day to keep and eye on them. (Like on a kitchen bench)

If the mix looks a bit dry spray it with MBL which should be made up in a trigger sprayer sitting next to your propagation place.

Now this is most important, as soon as there is some show of germination the tray must be placed where the baby plants get full light from above.

If you dont then the seedlings will stretch to what ever light is available and be ruined and you wasted the seed and your time.

Now if you have a bench in your glasshouse they should be placed there immediately once there is a show. Then they will not stretch and they will be hugging the mix they have germinated in with their first leaves just above the mix.

From this point they will grow upwards as sturdy strong seedlings.

If you don’t have a glasshouse then obtain a polystyrene box (about 15cm deep) placed in a full sun situation outside with a sheet of clean glass over the tray to protect from birds and vermin.

Its a good practice to place a small length of wood 15cm long and about a cm thick at two opersite corners of the polystyrene tray to sit the glass on which then allows condensation to escape.

Alternative is a old drawer or plastic tray that has a depth of 15cm there about.

The polystyrene box is best as its white and increases light by reflection. Alternative place a bit of Panda film in a suitable tray with white side upwards.

Check the seedlings every day and if they appear to be stretching at all move to a better place.

Also mist them with your made up MBL to keep the mix moist, the meat tray with water in can also help if they tend to dry out too quickly.

When they have grown up to touch the glass cover, then remove the glass and they can start to harden off. A spray over the foliage of Vaporgard about three days before you plant them out is ideal to protect them from the stress of transplanting and also harden then off completely against cold and wind factors.

In the planting hole place a pinch of the following: BioPhos, Ocean Solids, Wallys Calcium & health and a couple of sheep manure pellets. Spray the young plants once a week with MBL

Now if you prefer to plant the seeds directly where they are going to grow and in particular seeds of carrots, parsnips, beans and peas, then you make a trench in the open ground about 12 cm wide and 12 cm deep.

After which you then mow the lawn catching the clippings which you will pack down into the trench till it is about two thirds full, compacted.

Now over the clipping sprinkle: BioPhos, Ocean Solids, Wallys Calcium & health and sheep manure pellets (or any chicken mature or animal manures available).

Over this you either sieve soil that was removed from the trench or even better my preferred brand of compost. Place your seeds at correct spacing along the trench and spray them with MBL mix.

Then sieve more to cover them. The trench might not be full to ground level which is OK as it will help to make watering easier later on.

I like to cover with sharp sand as it is easy to see when dry and then lightly water. Clear plastic film could be laid over the trench to deter birds, vermin and cats from disturbing the germinating bed/trench. That would be held in place by lengths of wood, old bricks or stones.

If you don’t have open ground to grow in the use Grow Bags or containers about bucket size which you fill with Value Compost and the layer of the products that I have mentioned.

Now for the grow bags of which I have found square ones on Pestrol’ s web site at https://www.pestrol.co.nz — sizes 25 cm x 25 cm ares ideal for a bush tomato plant such as Russian red or a couple of cucumber plants, a capsicum or chilli. It’s also ideal for a crop of spring onions, carrots, dwarf beans. Then the larger sizes: 45 cm x 45 cm and a big 65 cm x 65 cm which is really a small garden that you can grow a few good vegetables in. Prices are only $6.90, $8.90 and $10.90 respectfully, plus shipping,

On the same site look at Garden Grow Beds square taking 60 litres of mix or bigger 120 litres which are ideal for small gardens in sunny place and not taking much room as well ($27.90 – $38.90 plus shipping, great value).

Like any raised or container gardens, you don’t have to throw away the growing medium and put fresh in when a crop is harvested. All you do is add the products talked about above and the a fresh layer of mix over them and plant again.

All the roots and food values left over from the harvest will go towards feeding the new crop. For instance in a 120 cm bed as above you plant some cabbages, cauliflower and broccoli.

When they are mature you cut the heads off then and leave the stalks in the grown where they will continue to grow and quickly produce a number of small heads.

The outer leaves you are not going to use, trim off the head and lay those leaves on the top of the mix to be recycled back into the medium.

After you have harvested the small heads on the stalk you cut that off below soil level to allow the roots to rot and provide food for next crop.

Even on a small apartment balcony on a sturdy table you can grow some produce; likewise in a retirement place where you have a bit of space outside on concrete or somewhere; you can do it. It’s fun and great for your health.

Petition demands that She & Her abetters testify under oath about their covid roles

30 Monday Jun 2025

Posted by Waikanae watchers in Uncategorized

A new petition is demanding that New Zealand’s Covid-19 Royal Commission of Inquiry compel key political and health figures to testify under oath about their roles in the country’s pandemic response.

The campaign, launched by Reality Check Radio (RCR) calls for former Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern, former Director-General of Health Dr Ashley Bloomfield, and former Covid-19 Response Minister Chris Hipkins to face public questioning over decisions that led to lockdowns, vaccine mandates, and what critics describe as widespread social and economic harm.

Other persons the petition says should face questioning and accountability are:

  • Siouxsie Wiles, Microbiologist & COVID-19 Media Spokesperson
  • Michael Baker, Epidemiologist & Government Health Advisor
  • Shaun Hendy, Government Modeller & Physics Professor
  • Helen Petousis-Harris, Vaccinologist & Government Media Spokesperson
  • Grant Robertson, Deputy Prime Minister & Finance Minister
  • Rebecca Kitteridge, Director-General, NZ Security Intelligence Service (NZSIS)
  • Professor Rod Jackson, Epidemiologist & Government Media Commentator
  • Dr. Sanjana Hattotuwa, Research Director, The Disinformation Project
  • Kate Hannah, Director, The Disinformation Project

The petition accuses these individuals of avoiding accountability while maintaining influence or reputational status. It argues that the nation’s Covid response created a divided, damaged society and that the fallout from those policies continues to affect New Zealanders. Supporters of the petition say this is a rare chance for meaningful accountability, with the Commission legally empowered to summon witnesses and hold public hearings between August 2025 and the end of that year.

Organisers stress that unless public pressure is applied, the inquiry risks becoming a whitewash. They are urging the Commission to fully exercise its powers to summon those responsible for shaping the country’s pandemic policies—under oath and in the public eye.

The petition can be signed here.

Around a hundred private jets carrying celebrities descended on Italy to deliver eco-hypocrites including Leonardo DiCaprio, Oprah Winfrey and Bill Gates to the wedding of tech billionaire Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez.

Bezos held a three-day event, yes three days, in Venice at a cost of somewhere in the region of $50-100 million.

While the exact same people lecture you about taking the occasional economy flight for a family getaway, they literally charter their own emission spewing flights just for themselves to attend a piss up.

NATO to pump billions of Euros into the military, but where is the needed industry?

30 Monday Jun 2025

Posted by Waikanae watchers in Uncategorized

summarized from The Daily Standard

They stand there, with their beautiful suits and big words. The leaders of NATO, meeting in The Hague, solemnly declared that “billions” extra will be invested in their military. As if money alone can win their war with Russia. As if an enemy is deterred by a speech.

But in the meantime, reality is merciless: we have no factories, no people, no raw materials. The European defense industry has been cut to pieces, outsourced and hollowed out. And now – when push comes to shove – we stand empty-handed.

Clingendael researchers say Russia makes more weapons than it uses on the battlefield in Ukraine. It builds in three months what takes NATO a year. Why? Because since the 1990s our leaders have preferred to give money to gender-inclusive workshops than to industry. Left-wing parties preferred to subsidize climate policy. Russia has armed itself – and we have closed our factories. The same left-wing ideology that demolished our industry is now corrupting our universities. Hamas glorification, intimidation of Jewish students – and administrators who remain silent. It has to stop.

In the Netherlands it is even more poignant. Our shipyards are on the verge of collapse. Young people are trained in climate psychology and decolonial philosophy, but no one knows how to build a tank, or a bullet. This is the legacy of Rutte, Kaag and the entire political middle class. Leftists now call for higher NATO contributions while they have been hollowing out the military for decades.
