A scene from about 9:20 on Saturday.  The Downtown Community Ministry bookfair organisers in Wellington (held in July) told us that although the number of books being sold each year is slowly falling, the total amount spent is constant, so people are after better quality books now.

Anyway the Waikanae fair should have raised a respectable sum to be shared among the deserving charity recipients.
