Simon O’Connor is so correct. Politicians often seek to rule by ‘divide and conquer’ measures. The tactic is well known going back decades and centuries. But this government is unashamedly playing that political card to extremes.
It seeks to divide the country on all sorts of grounds from gender to ethnic background, to vaccination matters, etc. It is an extremely dangerous government by being one that ignores democracy. I referred to politicians seeking to ‘rule’. That is incorrect, it should be “serve.”
MPS are public servants. Madame Adern is the most senior public servant in NZ, no more than that.
