No, Kiwis 4 Democracy is not the same group as Democracy Action. We are very similar but not the same.
Kiwis 4 Democracy is a group advocating for the maintenance of democracy, equality and transparency in the governance of New Zealand.
Kiwis 4 Democracy endeavours to speak on behalf of the many tens of thousands of New Zealanders who are feeling, totally disenfranchised by the current government and its newly revealed agenda for 50/50 co-governance with Iwi by2040.
For example; We believe that the Three Waters Legislation is a blatant “Trojan Horse” tactic ie: a subterfuge to facilitate the ceding of control of New Zealand’s entire fresh water resources to Iwi interests. However this is just the precursor and vanguard of this governments drive to institute co-governance across many sectors including Health, Justice, Education, Resource Management and the Conservation Estate .
This co-governance agenda was not revealed to the nation at the last election as it would certainly have resulted in a resounding defeat for Labour. It seems that the Three Waters Legislation has been pressed onto councils with the expectation of blind acceptance.
