“Both I and my partner had the first two covid jabs – but have absolutely no intention of lining up a third time as target practice. We are each committed to the flu jab with my appointment being pre- Easter at my GPs practice.
“I am appalled at the way in which Hipkins and [Health Minister] Verrall showcase their having simultaneously received both the flu and latest covid bivalent vaccine. As at 79 — a member of this vulnerable age group — I strongly view both what they said and did in linking these two jabs as unethical bullying, and in fact scaremongering.”

The Prime Minister has had his flu and Covid-19 vaccinations and is encouraging others to do the same.
From today, more people are eligible for the Covid-19 bivalent vaccine, which protects against two strains of coronavirus.
Chris Hipkins got his injections at a community vaccination event in Upper Hutt on Saturday morning, alongside Health Minister Ayesha Verrall.
He said it was important eligible people got the jabs before winter arrived.
