The hit piece on citizen journalist Chantelle Baker in the NZ Herald was called the ‘dumbest piece of fake news today,’ by Rebel News Australia journalist Avi Yemini.
The article was penned by the notorious far left activist David Fisher.
The first bit of disinformation in it was in relation to Baker’s age. The article said she was 30 years old, when in fact she is 29.
This government’s subsidised legacy media publication also photoshopped the image used in the article to laterally distort Baker’s features and make her nose and chin look bigger than they are in reality, causing accusations of mysogyny and journalistic ‘filth.’

The NZ Herald is State-affiliated media. The Media Council ignores complaints about its members’ inaccuracies, (political) bias, distortion and lack of balance; but it should take a dim view of David Fisher’s lies + Photoshopped insults, so hopefully Chantelle Baker will complain. —Eds

Why any one wants to read, listen to, and watch the msm in our COUNTRY, is beyond comprehension.

What a load of crap from Fisher and Hannah. I’m not particularly enamoured of Chantelle but anyone with two brain cells to rub together can clearly see what is going on.
Hannah is a has-been whose dance card is empty and is clearly jealous of Chantelle’s bloom of youth and popularity. She probably hates it that Chantelle doesn’t have to shop at a plus-size store.
As for stating that Chantelle operates as a useful idiot, she might want to look in the mirror, but not for too long, as she will have nightmares.
With Fisher, it looks as though he may be hating on a woman as she’s not a radical leftist and therefore it’s perfectly acceptable.
These media morons are trying to paint Chantelle as a grifter but she’s not even out of the starting blocks compared with these Judases and what’s more she is open-minded. If nothing else they may be able to rack up the achievement of bringing down the Herald.
