It’s a violent part of the world where authoritarian rule is needed to keep order, but that doesn’t excuse the tactics Hamas indulge in — condemning Israel while disregarding what Hamas do is being disingenuous. Anyway, if people want history lessons they can go elsewhere. The implications for the World including NZers are the impact on world trade and the more conflicts that Biden & Blinken create the lower prosperity gets. Their plans for Lebanon, Syria and Iran will have a lot more impact than Gaza.
It’s not what New Zealand could be like under Maori tribal rule? It is already happening, i.e.. Waikaremoana, Coastlines and beaches all around the country closed off or you have to pay. Fisheries and the list goes on so one could only imagine what the future could look like if we let this folly carry on.
October 7: Even if Israelis or others were killed or injured by “friendly fire” from a surprised, unprepared IDF security (?) the atrocities of Hamas remain. Hamas operatives could have said “NO, we will not do this”. But they did not. What possible reasoning on earth makes a human (?) carry out such an obscene attack? The character is sick.
