Russia and North Korea actually have a shared border although it’s not a very long one and this is the first visit Putin has made in 24 years. What’s in it for Putin — simply tit for tat antagonism for the Biden regime?

Neither China nor Russia are particularly excited by the Hermit Kingdom’s ruling dynasty and probably view Dear Leader as a cruel absolute dictator like observers in the West. However, with the constant saber rattling that Biden, Blinken et al have indulged in since January 2021, China and Russia probably see him as another useful ally against US hegemony led by the DNC and the Pentagon. Although the Biden regime claims Pyongyang will supply munitions to Russia, that doesn’t seem likely, not least because North Korea’s are not good quality.
