He was assassinated by an Islamist in Los Angeles on 6 June that year. His son, Robert F. Kennedy Jr, is running for President this year as an independent, but the disgraceful Biden denied him Secret Service protection. Legally, he is required to get it for the last 100 days of the campaign which applies from 28 July.

Eye witness John Pilger also believed that there must have been a second gunman.
Robert Kennedy, like his son, was a big supporter of Israel, but he had also become known as the anti-war candidate.
