This week, the Government officially set its expectations for Pharmac, including that it should serve New Zealanders based on need, without using race as a proxy for need based on the Treaty.

As expected, the usual suspects were outraged.

But this was just a small taste of the reaction ACT’s Treaty Principles Bill is going to get later this year. The mainstream media is going to go ballistic, Social media platforms are going to throttle our content, and the other parties won’t support equal citizenship.

The Bill is simple. It will define the principles of the Treaty in law, including that all New Zealanders have equal rights.

What can you do?

Some people aren’t aware of the Treaty Principles Bill, but when they hear about it, they love it.

We need more people to be aware of the Bill.
