● Russia gets most of what it was aiming for. Most likely de jure recognition of Crimea and for now de facto recognition of Donbas as Russian territories.
● The US gets a not too shabby ($100 billion) contact for providing security of a future Ukraine, what’s left of it, paid for by the hapless Europeans of course Donald more than likely gets his Nobel Prize.
● Ukraine gets a flat NO for NATO membership. NO for NATO troops on Ukrainian territory. A possible NO for EU membership as making the mistake of accepting that basket case into the Union will economically bring the EU to its already wobbly knees.
- Zelensky gets to say that “We have fought to save Kiev”.
● Europe gets the privilege of footing the bill for a deal worked out exclusively between Trump and Putin and imposed on Zelensky and his Eurosponsors by a Trump who emerges as the undisputed leader of the west.
● Rutte of NATO, gets to be reminded that he is only an appointed puppet who is not allowed to take initiatives of his own and is in that position for as long as his true master tolerates him.

My response:
“The SMO (Special Military Operation) of Russia, had specific objectives, mainly those of protecting the minorities of ethnic Russians in Ukraine that for eight years (2014-2022) were being systematically ethnically cleansed by the Kiev puppet regime.
It was never meant to be an all out war with NATO. It was NATO countries that chose to adopt it as their very own proxy war on Russia.
A few hundred billion dollars later, they have realized to their dismay, that they have failed miserably to “bring Russia to its knees” militarily, politically, economically, despite the fact that Russia has “been running out of missiles” repeatedly for the last 3.5 years, been “utilising chips from washing machines” and “fighting with shovels”, Russia is close to achieving its objectives, having turned into useless scrap metal most of the “superior western weapons” that NATO spared no expense to secure for its proxy.”
Only by understanding what is really going on, can you formulate an opinion that is truly your own.
The general ignorance of facts of Ukraine war is staggering.
Besides NATO creeping up on Russias borders assiduously, Ukraine treated Russians as lower citizens.
They made a huge mistake in finally forbidding them to speak Russian in public. They were even imprisoned and tortured if they were caught speaking Russian to each other in the streets.
Putin went in to help his citizens.
The war could have been avoided, simply… by USA & EU pledging they’d not include Ukraine in NATO. Furthermore, Zelensky could have simply stopped the stupid law enforcement forbidding anyone speaking Russian.
NATO poked the Russian Bear once too often.
The Orange Revolution was aided by Western involvement in Ukrainian domestic politics, ousting a Russian-friendly government.
Russia took Crimea after a referendum for it believed its naval base at Sebastopol was in danger of falling into NATO hands, as it had done when Britain, France and Turkey captured the port during the 1856 War in Crimea.
The allies successfully blocked Russian entry into the Mediterranean – President Putin acted to prevent a repetition.
The Minsk Agreements could have settled the matter, but the West used delaying tactics – 8 years from 2014-22 – during which it armed and trained the Ukrainians.
Then, at Nato’s urging, President Zelensky, decided to take back Crimea – so the present war began.
Russia will not be beaten by Ukraine – for neither the Europeans not America are prepared to declare war.
Russia proved its resilience when the might of the German army was turned against it during WW2.
Russia will endure any sacrifice to be secure.
