Another man made climate change myth. Climte change is increasing Forest fires, or as we say down under, bush fires.
Researchers using NASA satellite data have detected a significant global decline in fires, with burned area dropping by 24 percent between 1998 and 2015. The decline is most notable in savannas and grasslands, where traditional fire use for land management has become less common as societies settle and agriculture intensifies.
The changes over time are mapped using MODIS satellite data, revealing annual fluctuations and a downward trend in global fire activity since 1998.
