ABU DHABI (ANP) – The United Arab Emirates says it has shot down 172 Iranian missiles so far, Al Jazeera reports. Thirteen other missiles landed in the sea, and one landed on Emirati territory.
The Gulf state also monitored 812 Iranian drones, of which 755 were intercepted. Three people were killed in all these attacks, and 68 people were injured.
The UAE, like other countries in the region, is being attacked by Iran because it hosts US military bases. Missiles and drones are also being shot down there. Bahrain, for example, claimed to have intercepted 73 missiles and 91 drones. Qatar shot down two fighter jets on Monday.
