Yes it is blatant racism!. They should be held to account. Would be funny to see what would happen if we put up a post how to train your Maori! Thought this country had moved away from racism. There are more than 50 cultures in NZ now. They are just showing their true face.
On a personal level and also, I have heard many stories about Maori only employing Maori in all facets in the employment place. A mate was doing all the specialised concrete work at the new Spa complex here in Rotorua and one of the iwi asked him what iwi he belonged to, and he replied he was a New Zealander and the hierarchy said he couldn’t work at the site anymore. So, he told his crew to pack and left the site.
A few weeks late they came back begging him to finish the contract because they could not get anyone else to do the work. He went back to finish the project on the condition he was going to double his crews labour wage rate.
Amazing.
