As well as range anxiety, consider what happens if you run out of power? A petrol car, get to the nearest gas station, buy/borrow a can of gas, back to your car, put gas in it and you’re away again. An EV? You’re stuffed. Always remember to take a spare can of electricity with you on those longer journeys you EV floks! And EVs don’t like water. Last year in our area a brand new luxury EV was driven into flood waters that an i.c.e. vehicle would happily negotiate. It stopped and was a write-off.
