The Leftist TV1 News a couple of weeks back were obviously ecstatic that their last poll showed the Hippy Chippy party had an 8 point lead over National. This poll shows only a 2 point lead, and that is only the margin of error.

I was one of those rung (at random) for this poll and quite a few more questions were asked other than which party I would vote for and what I thought of different politicians. One of these was what did I think was the biggest issue for November’s election. My answer was “freedom of speech” although that was only only just above “institutionalised racism” meaning unelected co-governance, special privileges based on skin colour and bloodlines, and many race-based laws. While that’s bad under the present government (despite the promises to eliminate it) it would be on steroids under the racist Left bloc.

There are of course other issues such as the Left bloc’s answer to any problem — ‘ban it, tax it or throw money at it” and wasteful state spending which Leftists excell at.

It’s too early to have a good idea what will happen in November, but at least this poll is cause for hope.
