Not much of it is visible, but in the full-size version of the pic you’ll see works towards the right hand end of this ridge line.

The power pylons carrying the high tension lines that locals have wanted to see buried underground in conjunction with the Expressway works are also visible (see earlier posts).  However, we think the likelihood of Transpower heeding this call now is remote.  Being government owned it has the same orders from the government to make maximum profits that other state-owned enterprises have and doesn’t want what it considers unnecessary expense.
