A scene in our driveway.  In the centre is a jacaranda tree with the mauve blossoms (a tree which almost a symbol of Los Angeles), on the right is a pine nut tree, to the left an avocado tree and behind is a cabbage tree, which although it looks nice, gives us the constant chore of picking up the dead fronds from the pavement, and these don’t decompose…
